DEAD FREQUENCY Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 20, 2026
You play without creating an account, and your progress is stored only on your device. TeamCP runs no game servers. Achievements can optionally be synced with Google Play Games, which Google processes under your Google account. Otherwise the internet is used only to load ads, and the ad services (Unity LevelPlay and Unity Ads) process device information and advertising identifiers needed to deliver them.
Applies to version 1.0.0. We update this page and its date when features or the ad setup change.
1. Scope and operator
TeamCP develops and operates the Android game ‘DEAD FREQUENCY’ (com.teamcp.deadfrequency). This policy explains what information the game handles and the choices you have. Contact: sjw0480@gmail.com.
The game has no TeamCP accounts, game servers, chat or in-app purchases. The only sign-in is the optional Google Play Games sign-in (section 4). It does not ask for or collect your name, email, phone number, precise location (GPS), contacts, photos or microphone. If you email support, we use your address and message only to answer you.
2. Information stored on your device
This data is kept only in the app’s private Android storage for game features (continue, archive, new game plus) and is never sent to TeamCP. The app contains no analytics (such as Firebase Analytics) or crash-reporting tools.
- The run in progress: day, resources, choices and the communication log (last 3 runs)
- Archive: endings, frequencies, contacts and records you found, the date first found, and the number of completed runs
- Which achievements you earned and which have already been sent to Google Play Games
- Ending hint levels unlocked early with rewarded ads
- Settings: language, text speed, sound, music, vibration, accessibility options and whether the tutorial was seen
3. Android Auto Backup
The app allows Android Auto Backup. If backup is turned on for your device, Android stores the game data above (and settings the ad SDK saved inside the app) encrypted in your Google account’s backup space, and can restore it when you reinstall the app or move to a new device.
This backup is provided by Google according to your device settings; TeamCP cannot access its contents. You can turn it off or delete it in your device’s Settings > Google > Backup.
4. Google Play Games achievements
The game offers 24 achievements through Google Play Games services. When the game starts, Google Play Games may sign you in automatically according to your Play Games settings, and you can also sign in with the achievements button on the Archive screen. Signing in is optional: if you cancel, have no Play Games profile or are offline, the whole game still works, and earned achievements are kept on the device and sent the next time you are signed in.
While you are signed in, the app sends Google only which achievements you unlocked (worked out from your archive progress on the device). Google processes your Play Games player ID, profile (gamer name and avatar) and achievement records under its own policy and shows them in Google Play Games. TeamCP does not receive your email address or name and stores no player data on any server.
5. Ads and the information ad services process
The game is free and supported by ads. The ad setup is Unity LevelPlay (mediation) and Unity Ads. It does not include AdMob, Firebase or any payment SDK.
Ads appear as a banner at the bottom of the screen (not on the start screen or in cutscenes), as full-screen ads when you end a day roughly every other in-game day and when you leave an ending result screen, and as rewarded ads (ending hints) that play only when you tap them. You can finish the whole game without watching any ad.
To load and show ads, the ad services may process:
- IP address and the approximate region derived from it; device model, operating system, app version, language and network information
- Advertising and SDK identifiers such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID
- Ad requests, impressions, clicks and completed views, plus error and diagnostic information
These are used to deliver ads, limit how often they appear, measure performance, prevent fraud and diagnose problems. Whether ads are personalized and how much is processed depends on your region, device settings and the ad providers’ own rules. TeamCP does not receive individual user data from the ad services; we only see aggregated revenue and impression statistics in their dashboards.
6. Your ad choices
Your choice is stored only on your device and passed to the ad mediation service (Unity LevelPlay) as a consent signal. Outside those countries the consent screen is not shown and ads follow the rules of your region.
- In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the app asks for ad personalization consent on first launch and does not start the ad SDK until you choose. If you decline you still get the whole game, with non-personalized ads only. You can change the choice at any time in Settings > Ads > Personalised ads.
- In Android Settings > Privacy > Ads you can reset or delete your advertising ID. Once deleted, a string of zeros is sent instead, so it cannot be used for personalized ads.
- Use the privacy icon inside an ad, or the procedure in Unity’s policy below, to access, delete or opt out of ad data.
- If you turn off your internet connection no ads are requested; the whole game can be played offline.
7. Third-party services and international processing
Unity LevelPlay, Unity Ads, Google Play Games services and Android (Google) services are governed by their own policies. Ad data, achievement data and backup data may be processed outside your country; recipients, locations and safeguards are described in each provider’s policy.
TeamCP does not sell your information. However, data processing in the advertising ecosystem may be classified as a ‘sale’ or ‘sharing’ under some local laws, so please also review the opt-out and rights procedures of the providers below.
8. Deleting data and retention
Game data on your device stays until you delete it. Backup and ad data retention follows each provider’s policy. We do not keep support emails longer than needed after your request is resolved.
- Game data: uninstall the app, or go to Android Settings > Apps > DEAD FREQUENCY > Storage > Clear data. This cannot be undone.
- Android backup: turn off backup or delete the device backup in Settings > Google > Backup.
- Google Play Games: you can delete this game’s Play Games data or your Play Games profile in Google Play Games settings (see ‘Delete Google Play Games data’ below). This does not delete your Google account.
- Ad data: delete or reset your advertising ID and use Unity’s request procedure. Uninstalling the app alone does not delete data ad providers have already processed.
- Need help: email sjw0480@gmail.com with the app name and your request. Do not send passwords or ID documents. For data TeamCP does not hold, we will point you to the right provider’s procedure.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, opt out of sale/sharing, or complain to a supervisory authority. Because TeamCP keeps no game data on servers, most requests are handled through your device settings or the ad providers, and we will tell you which route to use.
10. Children and parents
DEAD FREQUENCY is a story game about disaster, survival and death and is not directed at children under 13. The app tells the ad services that it is not child-directed, and it has no age check or parental consent feature.
If you believe information from a child under 13 has been processed, contact us and we will explain how to delete it.
11. Security and changes
Game data is kept in the app’s private Android storage, which other apps cannot read. Ad traffic, Play Games communication and backups use each provider’s encrypted connections.
When features, SDKs or processing change, we update this policy and its date and announce important changes on this page. If you think the language versions of this document differ, please contact us.
